August 20, 1947 - August 16, 2026

Jeanette Charlotte Vendetti, 78, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Although her given name was Jeanette, she was known to family, friends, coworkers, and all who knew her simply as Charlotte.

Born in Philadelphia, Charlotte lived a life centered on faith, family, and creating lasting memories with the people she loved most. While she built a successful career over the years, her greatest joy was always caring for others.

Charlotte's nurturing spirit began early in life. After the loss of her mother when she was just 16 years old, she helped care for her younger sister, Jean. With nearly a decade between them, Charlotte often stepped into a protective role, bringing Jean with her wherever she went and helping guide her through those difficult years. What began as a relationship rooted in Charlotte's care and guidance grew into a lifelong bond between sisters.

Charlotte began her career at SEPTA as a scheduler before leaving the workforce to raise her children. As they grew older, she returned to work as a sales representative for Abbott Pharmaceuticals and later Revlon. She eventually found her place in property management, spending 16 years as a leasing agent and manager with Home Properties before retiring.

No matter where life led her professionally, family always came first. During her children's elementary school years, Charlotte was active in the Parent Association at St. Ephrem’s, where she generously gave her time in support of students, families, and school events. As her children grew older, she remained involved at Holy Ghost Preparatory School, volunteering with Red Mass activities and the Forensic Spaghetti Dinner. Whether she was helping behind the scenes, working a concession stand at a swim meet, or cheering from the sidelines, she was always there. She didn't just show up. She gave her time, energy, and heart.

Nothing meant more to Charlotte than her children. She was proud of Frank and Nicole and loved them unconditionally. In her final years, Frank and Nicole spent meaningful time caring for and supporting their mother, a role that reflected the love they shared. Charlotte would want them to find comfort in knowing how much she appreciated their presence, care, and devotion.

Being a Nonna brought Charlotte immense happiness. She adored her granddaughter, Kaitlyn, and treasured every opportunity to be part of her life. From volunteering at Penn Ryn School to cheering her on through the years and celebrating her accomplishments at Nazareth Academy, Charlotte was always one of Kaitlyn's biggest supporters. Nothing made her prouder than watching Kaitlyn grow into the remarkable young woman she is today. As a Public Health major at Temple University, Kaitlyn has seen both the challenges and the humanity within healthcare. Charlotte admired her compassion, strength, and desire to help others and was confident that she would leave the world a little better than she found it.

North Wildwood held a special place in Charlotte's heart. It was where she spent her summers enjoying the beach, the boardwalk, and the simple moments that brought her the most joy. Friday nights often found her sitting on her balcony with a drink in hand, listening to Jerry Blavat and watching the fireworks light up the sky. The next morning, she was making sure everyone was up and ready for a bike ride on the boardwalk. She loved a good party and had a special gift for turning ordinary weekends into memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Her faith was a constant source of strength throughout her life. She was devoted to the Miraculous Medal and found great comfort in the Rosary and Novena prayers that remained an important part of her spiritual life.

Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Regina (Chepulis) Misunas, and by her beloved husband, Frank Vendetti, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Frank Vendetti III; her daughter, Nicole Vendetti; her cherished granddaughter, Kaitlyn James; her sister, Jean March; her nieces, Danielle (Jesse) Bowman and Andrea March; her great-niece, Natalie Bowman; her great-nephew, Evan Bowman; and many other relatives and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and devotion.

While her family is heartbroken by her loss, they find comfort in knowing she is reunited with the love of her life. Her legacy lives on through her children, granddaughter, family, and friends, the traditions she created, the lessons she passed down, and the countless memories she leaves behind.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeanette's name to CAMM, The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal, 475 East Chelten Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144-5785, or online at  Support CAMM - Central Association of the Miraculous Medal

I worked many years with Frank my good friend and golf degenerate buddy.

One day while on vacation I went over to N Wildwood with my young daughter Megan and Charlotte scooped her up like she was her own while Frank and I spent a couple hours together talking about I guess both golf and work.

Sorry for your loss but take comfort that they are happily together again forever.
