Jamie L. Rocco-McCormick

July 16, 1978 - March 19, 2020

Jamie L. Rocco McCormick, 41, of Hamilton, passed away on March 19, 2020 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton.


Born in Lambertville, she was a lifelong area resident of Hamilton. She attended Steinert High School where she was very involved, and went on to graduate Cum Laude from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. She worked as Special Education teacher’s assistant at Morgan Elementary School. Jamie could light a room with her amazing personality and love for life. She was extremely motivated with her life goals and was a very outgoing, beautiful, energetic, kind soul who loved a good conversation and easily made friends anywhere she went. Some of her passions were, teaching special education, educating others on addiction, she loved music, cooking, shopping, journaling, binge watching Netflix, and Facebooking; most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her two beautiful children.


Granddaughter of the late Tiberio Rocco, Douglas Kerr, and Rosia “Nana” Wooden; she is survived by her two children, Riley and Liam McCormick, her parents Charlotte Collins and Tiberia Rocco, her three siblings, Jenna Rocco, Joel Rocco and his wife Meagan, and Joshua Rocco; nieces and nephews, Ariel Rocco, Giovanni Krasznai, Hayley Maguire, Brooklyn Rocco, and Ryan Lloyd; her grandmother Kathryn Rocco; and many other cousins, aunts, and close friends.


A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Buklad-Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. A brief memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home.
