James S. Hritz

September 25, 1957 - October 6, 2026

James S. Hritz, 69, of Yardville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Paterson, NJ and raised in Hamilton Township, he was a lifelong area resident.  James was employed with General Motors for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed, listening to music, reading, and watching horror movies. More than anything he loved being with his wife Karin, and his dog, Mia.

Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Frances (Hora) Hritz; he is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Karin L. (Gordon) Hritz; mother-in-law, Barbara Gordon; a brother, Paul Hritz; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Chris Heim; as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Services are private and under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
