James F. Cipolloni, 90, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Gulf Coast Medical Center, surrounded by the love of his devoted family.


Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, James spent most of his life in the Trenton area, where he built a strong foundation of family, friendships, and memories. In later years, he embraced a new chapter in Fort Myers, Florida, a transition made immeasurably smoother by the unwavering support and generosity of his nephew, David Cipolloni, David’s wife, Michele, and their daughter, Gianna. They were more than family; they were a constant source of comfort, ensuring that he felt welcomed and at home in this new chapter of life.


James was a dedicated employee of Congoleum Industries, where he proudly worked for 48 years before retiring. Outside of his professional life, James found his greatest joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment they shared. A passionate fan of the New York Yankees and auto racing, he followed both with unwavering enthusiasm.


Predeceased by his parents ,Vincent and Josephine Cipolloni; his three brothers, twin brother, George Cipolloni, Joseph Cipolloni and Alfred Cipolloni and his wife, Filomena; his sisters, Eleanor Cipolloni and Philomena and her husband Joseph Spoto; he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Phyllis Cipolloni; his sons, Brian (Kathleen) Cipolloni and David Cipolloni;  sister, Angela (Ron) Cote; two brothers, Anthony Cipolloni and Ronald Cipolloni; grandchildren, Erin (Michael) Gimbre, and Christian Cipolloni (US Air Force); nephew David Cipolloni and his wife Michele and their daughter, Gianna; as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.


Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ.


Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home.


Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ
