Jacqueline M. Abbotts

Jacqueline M. Abbotts, 90, of Allentown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ she was a longtime Allentown resident.  She retired from the State of New Jersey, State Library. She loved spending time at the beach, taking trips to Bermuda with  her husband Jack, and enjoying time outdoors. She took great pride in her yard and gardens, especially enjoyed beautiful flowers, and cherished time spent with her sisters, family and friends.   


Predeceased by her parents, Edmund and Katherine (Odorczyk) Krempecke; her best friend and beloved husband, John Abbotts; and her siblings, Florence Hoyer, Evelyn Andrzejak, Bernice Anderson and Edwin Krempecke.


She is survived by her nieces, Judith (David) Morrow and Donna (Timothy) Szwedo; nephew, Mark J. (Patricia) Hoyer, Sr.; great-niece, Stacie (John) Mariconi; great-nephews,  Mark J. Hoyer, Jr.; Michael (Jennifer) Hoyer, great-great nieces and nephew, Sophia, Juliana, Luella, Madilyn, and Joseph; first cousin, John (Sandy) Morrison; step-sons, Roger (Joanne) Abbotts, and Bruce (Marla) Abbotts ; and  step-grandchildren, Laurel and Kieran; as well as dear friends.


A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church,  1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown, NJ 08501.

Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Brig. General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, North Hanover Twp., NJ 08562.


Due to cemetery regulations, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105    https://www.stjude.org or to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
