Irene “Renee” Krause, 81 , of, Columbus, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday morning, October 25, 2022, with her beloved cat Archie by her side.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime area resident before moving to Columbus 20 years ago. She was employed with Dr. Gabriel Sciallis’ dermatology office as his office manager, and retired after many years of service. Renee loved yard sales, crafting, and crab legs.
Renee is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Irene (Téringer) Careyote, her husband, Raymond Krause Jr., and her son Kevin Krause. She is survived by her two sons, Raymond Krause III of Columbus, and Joseph (June) Krause of Hedding. Renee also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Lillian Krause, who so generously looked after her; four grandchildren, Joseph (Anya) Krause Jr., Anthony Krause, Autumn Krause and Cody Collins; two brothers, Nick (Lisa) Careyote and Marty Careyote; sister-in-law Maria Neus; brothers-in-law, Walter Krause and Paul (Sally) Krause; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends, who loved her and will miss her.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, Yardville.
Funeral services will begin Friday, November 4, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bordentown.
