Gerald L. Rondinelli

March 5, 1934 - January 27, 2025


Gerald L. Rondinelli, 90, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.


Born in Trenton, Jerry was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Trenton Catholic High School in the Class of 1952 and went on to build a successful career in the buying and selling of automobiles, retiring after many dedicated years in the industry.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Jerry was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His faith was central to his life, and he worshiped at St. James Church in Pennington for many years.


Beyond his family, career, and faith, Jerry was a passionate sports fan, with a special love for basketball and football. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, creating lasting memories through his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support.


Predeceased by his parents, Leo and Florence Rondinelli; and his 7 siblings; he is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joyce M.(Bodinizzo) Rondinelli;  3 sons, Scott Rondinelli (Carole),

Ross Rondinelli (Ellen), and Todd Rondinelli (Leanna); a brother-in-law, Richard Bodinizzo;

a granddaughter, Isabel Rondinelli; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

 

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620.

 

A Catholic Prayer service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with local clergy officiating.

Jerry was such a great guy. I'll always remember him and the time we spent with the family. Now he can have more laughs with his buddy Dennis. Rest in peace!
