January 12, 1961 - February 16, 2026


George Warner Jr., 65, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, NJ, surrounded by the love of his family.


Born in Trenton and raised in Hamilton Township, NJ he was a lifelong area resident. George was a proud graduate of Hamilton High West, Class of 1979 and earned his associate’s degree from Mercer County Community College. 


George shared a special bond with his father, alongside whom he served as co‑owner of Service Parts and Supply Company in Trenton, a family business that his father faithfully operated for more than 40 years. In addition to helping carry on that legacy, George devoted his professional life to public service as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service in Hamilton, retiring after many years of dedicated service.


In his leisure time, George found great enjoyment in his hobbies and interests. He was an avid collector of Civil War memorabilia, appreciating the history and stories behind each piece. In his younger years, he especially loved hunting and fishing, pursuits that brought him peace, relaxation, and many cherished memories.


Predeceased by his parents, George and Lydia (Girton) Warner; he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Warner; his sister, Denise Warner; his significant other, Kathy Sapila; a nephew, Logan Warner; and his beloved german shepherd, Junior; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.


Visitation for family and friends will take place on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.


Cremation and burial will take place privately at a later date.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George’s name may be made to any German Shepherd rescue organization.
