December 11, 1954 - May 21, 2026


George P. Leszczuk, 71, of Hamilton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at home surrounded by the love of his family.


Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. George worked for General Motors for several years before continuing his career with Local 27 Sheet Metal Workers, where he remained for many years until his retirement.


George enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was a fan of country music and loved singing karaoke, spending time working in his garden, cooking, and building things with his hands. He also enjoyed playing cards, he was a BINGO caller and taking trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

Most of all, George cherished the time he spent with his family, friends, and his dogs.


Predeceased by his parents, George H and Sophie (Truch) Leszczuk; mother-in-law, Maria J. Suarez; sisters-in-law, Jessica Urban, and Mary Lee S. Leszczuk; and his son, George P. Leszczuk, Jr.; he is survived by his loving wife of  31 years, Sandra (Urban) Leszczuk;  daughters, Karen (David) Bader, and Katie (Adam) Leszczuk; step-sons, Gregory (Carolina) Bernard, and Paul (Megan) Bernard; brothers, John (Sherry) Leszczuk, William Leszczuk, and Harry Leszczuk; sister, Ellen (Joseph) Scabarozi; sister-in-law, Melissa (Thomas) Korpusinski;  grandchildren, Zachary, Julia, Violet, AJ,CJ. Dominick, Lilith; beloved dogs, Penny and Raven; as well as many, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and dear friends.


Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.


A prayer service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Father Marchyshak, officiating.

Cremation and burial will take place privately.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to  Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 824 Adeline Street, Trenton, NJ 08610.
