Frederick W. Cast, Sr., 83, of Pemberton passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Deborah Heart & Lung Hospital.
Born in Oneida, NY, Fred resided in Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, moving to the Trenton area in 1976 and most recently residing in Pemberton.
A Navy Veteran, Fred was a self employed Carpenter for most of his career. He also worked many years for Rick Bus Company. In his spare time he enjoyed working on his own home, most recently building a shed with the help of his grandson. He also liked fishing, camping, and also was an avid bowler. Fred also enjoyed rooting for the Phillies and the Steelers.
Son of the late Jacob and Ruby Belcher Cast, husband of the late Irene Delaine Cast, brother of the late Harriet, Margaret, Mildred, Lillian, Howard, Nelson “Spike”, and Herman “Doc” Cast, he is survived by his four children; Cynthia Burza, Ruth Marcavage and husband John, Brenda D. Sanchez and husband Jared MacDonald, and Frederick W. Cast, Jr. with whom he resided; his brother George Cast; seven grandchildren, John, Jr., Mark, and Melissa Marcavage, Lynn Svenson and husband Brett, Edward Brandon Torres, Alexander Sanchez and fiancé Jessica Menendez and Jeremiah Sanchez and fiancé Adriana Estremera; five great grandchildren, Jaylianah, Isiah, and Julian Sanchez, Trent and Aubrey Svenson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Relatives and friends may attend a visitation on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. on Monday morning, May 6, 2019, from the Buklad Memorial Home with local clergy officiating. Burial will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
