Frank Borromeo, 78, of Hopewell, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Monday, December 29, 2025, at home, surrounded by the love of his devoted family.

Born on May 11, 1947, in Terranova da Sibari, in the region of Calabria, Italy, Frank immigrated to the United States in 1963 at the age of 16, carrying with him a strong work ethic and deep family values that would guide him throughout his life. He settled in the Trenton area and remained a proud New Jersey resident for many years, residing in Trenton, Ewing, and most recently Hopewell.

Frank was a true entrepreneur and a self-made man, owning and operating numerous local business ventures throughout his lifetime. Through tireless dedication and perseverance, he built a successful life for himself and his family. He was known not only for his business acumen, but for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering commitment to providing the very best for those he loved.

Outside of work, Frank found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved watching soccer, spending time outdoors caring for his garden and landscaping, and making his own wine — traditions that brought him both pride and peace. He had an incredible knack for fixing just about anything, always ready to lend a helping hand or solve a problem. True to his Italian roots, he showed his love through food – no one ever left his home hungry, and every guest was treated like family at his table.

Above all else, Frank’s greatest pride and joy was his family. They were truly his world, and nothing brought him more happiness than time spent with his beloved grandchildren, who filled his days with laughter and love.
