Florencio Rodriguez Garcia, 65 of Trenton, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University New Brunswick, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born and raised in Salcajá, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, Florencio came to the United States at the age of 25 and made the Trenton area his home for the past 40 years. He deeply loved his family, especially his cherished grandchildren. Florencio possessed a remarkable will to live and fought courageously until the very end, driven by his desire to spend more time with those he loved most.
Predeceased by his parents, Manuel Rodriguez and Minga Garcia; he is survived by his wife, Candida Villegas; his children, Alexis Rodriguez and wife, Joelyn DeLeon, Aldair Rodriguez, and Lesly Rodriguez and husband, Pedro Navarrete; grandchildren, Antovelly Rodriguez and Thiago Rodriguez; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.
Services were private and under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
