Filomena Rorro

August 16, 1942 - February 17, 2026

Filomena Rorro, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026.

Born on August 16, 1942 in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of the city. She attended Trenton High School where she enjoyed playing violin in the school orchestra and excelled academically. She was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and attended Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania.

She possessed a keen intellect, yet was quite humble. She was steadfast in her devotion to her family and was blessed with a sweet and gentle character. She enjoyed being with her family and will be missed by all who were fortunate to know and love her.

Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Filomena (Guglielmelli) Rorro; her brothers, Drs. Louis and John Rorro; her sister, Dr. Mary A. Rorro, and her brother-in-law, Dr. Alex Krawczun. She is survived by her

sister, Dr. Celeste Rorro; her sister-in-law, Dr. Gilda Rorro; her nieces, Dr. Lisa Krawczun, Diane Taylor, J.D.LL.M. (Eric), and Dr. Mary Rorro (Joseph Chioffi); her nephew, Michael Rorro; and her grand-niece, Evelvn Taylor.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of The Angels Parish-St.Joachim Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ.

Visitation will be held prior to the mass from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.

There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.

Services are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton, NJ.
