January 17, 1935 - December 19, 2020
Emma E. Treglia, 85, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her son and daughter, on December 19, 2020. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime area resident.
Emma was a lifelong member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Trenton, St. Mary’s PTA, and their Ladies Auxiliary, Rosary Society, and worked at the Sunday night Bingo until it ended.
She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, Hamilton Senior Center, Decou Seniors, and Rusling Seniors, the Greek Catholic Union Lodge #15, the Red Hat Society, District #7 traveling bowling league, and the Reassurance Program of Contact of Mercer County.
Emma also attended and volunteered annually for the Pilgrimage at Uniontown PA.
Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary (Septak) Resetar; her husband, Patrick V. Treglia; sisters, Mary Farrell and Evelyn Jablonski; sister-in-law, Maryann Warner and her brother-in-law, Ted Liesch. She is survived by her son Ralph Treglia; her daughter Stephanie Hennessey and fiancé Richard Crum; her sister-in-law Phyllis Liesch; brother-in-law Ken Warner, Sr.; special friends, Marcy Embley and Mary Dzurisin and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 3:00 p.m-6:00 p.m. and again on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, 202 Grand St. Trenton, NJ 08611.
A Parastas service will be held at the church on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday 10:00 a.m. at the church.
Burial will follow in St. Mary the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery #3.
There will be no services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, PO Box 299, West Orange, NJ 07052 or Sisters of St. Basil the Great, 500 West Main Street, Uniontown, PA, 15401.
All attendees must wear face coverings at all times and follow all CDC guidelines.
