Elizabeth Pieretti DeLucia, 97, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, she was a proud lifelong area resident and a graduate of Trenton High School. Early in her life, she was employed with J.A. Roebling’s in the Cost and Accounting Department, a position she held until 1951, when she chose to leave the workforce to devote herself wholeheartedly to raising her family.

Her generous spirit was evident throughout her life, as she gave countless hours volunteering with the Hamilton Health Department, including many years assisting with their flu clinics. She also served the community as a Robin at McGalliard School for eight years, a role she took great pride in and one that reflected her caring and dependable nature.

A faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church since 1951, she was deeply involved in parish life. She volunteered at church carnivals, regularly assisted Msgr. McCorristin at the rectory, and was an active member of the Senior Citizens Club. Elizabeth lived at McCorristin Square where she enjoyed activities with the many friends she made throughout the years.

Known for her warm heart and welcoming nature, she was a wonderful cook who loved sharing meals with others and was blessed with a beautiful singing voice that brought joy to those fortunate enough to hear it.

Predeceased by her parents, Fulgenzio and Rita (Malmignati) Pieretti; her son, John DeLucia, Jr.; her beloved husband John DeLucia, Sr.;  and her brother, Louis Pieretti; she is survived by her children and their spouses, Jim DeLucia and Kathy Keelan; Rita and Jerry Chianese, Judy and Carl Segers, Joseph DeLucia, and Christine and David Brown; brother, Ernest Pieretti; grandchildren, Margaret DeLucia, Nat Segers and Kurt Krosnowski, Charles Segers, Samuel DeLucia, and Dylan Brown; her dear friends, Doris Santini and Joan Rudick; her wonderful live in caregiver, Tsiuri Beridze; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
