Deborah Tuccillo Iero

September 16, 1958 - January 2, 2023

Deborah Tuccillo Iero, “Aunt Deb” of Hamilton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2023, at Capital Health at Fuld Hospital, with her loving husband by her side.

Born in the Villa Park Section of Trenton, she was a second-generation hairstylist. She was raised in the beauty industry working alongside her mother, Marie and her sister, Carmie. Debbie went on to eventually become an owner of the family run salon, Salon Villa. More recently she was employed by Salon Malou in Hamilton.

Debbie was the kindest, most generous soul. She never missed a birthday or a celebration, and had a way about her that made you feel special. Free spirited, always happy and loving she enjoyed going to the shore for family vacations, dining out, and any excuse to shop and buy gifts for other people. She spent her free time babysitting her great niece Ella, whom she adored.

Predeceased by her parents Bucky and Marie (Faranca) Tuccillo and her brother Anthony Tuccillo, she is survived by her husband Frank “Cheech” Iero, and her son Frank (Jamia) Iero, Jr. Left behind to cherish her memory are her brothers Dean (Susan) Tuccillo of Hillsborough, NJ; Robert Tuccillo of Florida; and her sister Carmie (Harry) Gallo of Hamilton, NJ. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, Ella Sorrentino, Reed Chenevert and Dean “Baby Dean” Gallo, Jr.;sister-in-law and brother-in-law Toni and Patrick Musto, niece Tricia (Erwin) Ly, nephew Patrick (Rae) Musto Jr. and great niece, Tyler Rae Musto, all of Lawrenceville, NJ; along with many cousins and friends. Aunt Deb will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held on Monday January 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ, 08620, under the care and supervision of close family friend Carol Ann Mancuso, with Deacon Guido Mattozzi of Our Lady of the Angels Parish officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 am until the time of the service at the Yardville Memorial Home.
