Daniel C. Adamo

August 18, 1939 - January 18, 2023


On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, Daniel Carl Adamo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away at the age of eighty-three. Preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Pauline (Romano) Adamo of West Trenton, NJ. Dan graduated from Ewing High School in 1957, then went directly into the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served for 4 years as a Corporal in Camp Lejeune, NC and New Orleans, LA. Upon leaving the Marines, he worked for the Taxation Department within the State of NJ prior to joining RCA Astro Electronics and beginning his career in the Aerospace industry. Dan spent the remainder of his career in Aerospace working in various Finance roles over 37 years which spanned RCA, GE, Martin Marietta, and Lockheed Martin. During his retirement years, Dan became an extremely active member in a number of Masonic organizations. In 2001, Dan Joined Mt. Holly Lodge #14 F. & A.M. During his 22-year tenure with the lodge, he held various chairs, most prominently that of Worshipful Master twice in 2007 and 2014. In addition, to the Mt. Holly Lodge, Dan was also extremely active in following other Masonic organizations; Scottish Rite of Valley of Southern NJ (2001-Present): Royal Arch Mason, Boudinot Chapter #3 (2003-Present): Grand Council of Royal and Select Masons, Van Hook Council #8 (2003 – Present) and Grand Commandry of Knight’s Templar, Helena Commandry # 3 (2004-Present). Dan also was a lifelong avid outdoorsman and a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed his time outdoors over the years with his son, grandson, brother-in-law, nephews, and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Carolyn (Burch) Adamo of Bordentown, NJ; a daughter, Janet L. Adamo of Highlands Ranch, CO; and a son, Michael D. (Anita) Adamo of Castle Rock, CO; and two grandchildren, Martina Adamo and Michael C. Adamo, both of Castle Rock, CO. He is also survived by a brother, Leon R. (Patricia) Adamo of Morrisville, PA; a sister, Marlee (Kim) Tobie Aker of Florence, NJ; a brother-in-law, Walter “Bud” (Kathy) Burch of Lawrenceville, NJ; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton, with a prayer service to begin at 1:00 p.m.


Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
