Clifford Harris, Jr., 70, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Capital Health Systems at Fuld in Trenton.
Born December 24, 1951, and raised in Somerset, NJ, he lived in NJ, NY and Baltimore, MD, settling back in New Jersey with most of his time in New Brunswick, most recently in the Trenton area. Cliff graduated from Franklin High School and attended Morgan State University. In his later years, he enjoyed sports, cooking and going to church. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Predeceased by his parents, Clifford Harris, Sr. and Helen Harris; and his brother Warren Chapman; he is survived by his children, Daikiel (Kheesha) Shorts, Soleak Harris, Duan Darby-Braxton, and Clifford Harris, III; brothers, Robert Harris and Clevond Henry; sisters, Patricia Chapman, and Yvette Brazziel-Sims;
7 grandchildren, Cliff IV, Madison, Terez, Naomi, Daikiel, Jr., Anthony, and Tiquan; as well as many nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the
True Love Center, 2630 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
Viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
All services will take place at the church, and there will be no calling hours at the Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
