Clara E. Stockman

November 30, 1933 - February 27, 2024


Clara E. Stockman, 90, of Yardville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at her home in Yardville.

 

Born in Trenton, NJ she was a lifelong area resident, residing in Yardville for the past 52 years.  She worked for the State of NJ for many years before retirement. She was very patriotic and was a strong supporter of our military. She was an active volunteer at Kuser Mansion, providing Christmas Tours, volunteered with T.A.S.K. and worked with the Election Board. Clara and her late husband of more than 50 years, Herman, enjoyed traveling and they lived for a time in Italy and Germany. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and was a member of the St. Raphael’s Elderberry Club and the Hamilton Senior Citizens Club. 

 

Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Jesse (Brady) Adams, her siblings, and her beloved husband Herman Stockman; she is survived by her children, Herman Stockman of Illinois, Vernon Stockman of Oregon, Susan Holubowycz and husband Michael, and Patricia Stockman and husband James Scarvalli; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; her good friends, Kathy Wooley, and Father James; as well as many other relatives.

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.

 

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service.

 

Interment will follow in the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, North Hanover Twp., NJ.
