September 18, 1945 - December 5, 2024
Christine Sesini Lawrence,79, was received into God’s loving arms with her family by her side on December 5, 2024 after a long and brave battle with cancer.
Born in Hamilton, NJ she retired after many years of service from the food service Department of St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
A parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows-Saint Anthony Parish, Hamilton, NJ Christine is remembered for treasuring her Catholic faith and deep love of Jesus in the Eucharist. Prior to her death she recently became a Eucharistic Minister to administer communion to the sick and homebound in her community.
After caring for the love of her life who was bedridden from suffering a stroke at an early age, she became a social butterfly and was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She demonstrated her love of God by helping her neighbors and volunteering for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed leisure time activities and decorating for all the holidays. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center to be among her friends and participate in all the daily activities, especially their dances. She was recently crowned Senior Center Prom Queen.
Growing up Christine had fun doing sister things. After school, the first thing she and her sisters did was turn on the black and white TV to sing and dance to American Bandstand. The amazing relationship she had with them lasted a lifetime.
Daughter of the late Louis and Mary DeLapo Sesini, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Lawrence, and her sister, Catherine Sesini Haines, and is survived by sisters Rosemary Marcienkewicz and Theresa Loda, one nephew, three nieces and many family members and friends.
