March 10, 1940 - May 7, 2026

Charles C. Pecket, Jr., 86, of Ewing, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at home surrounded by the love of his family.

Born and raised in Sillman, NJ, a longtime resident of Mercer County, he later built a life centered around family, friendship, and service to others. He was a proud and honorably discharged Veteran of the United States Marine Corps who faithfully served his country during the Vietnam War, a chapter of his life he carried with great pride and dignity.

Charles was a gifted athlete and loved all sports and excelled in Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Swimming. He was an avid football player and was even drafted to play professionally, until an unfortunate accident changed the course of his path.

He later owned and operated an Appliance Store in Princeton, NJ. He loved repairing appliances and was a Jack of all trades. However, being a Car Salesman for over 30 years was his first love. He worked mostly at Kennedy-Haldeman Ford, Lawrence Lincoln-Mercury, and Hamilton Chrysler where he dedicated years of service as an outstanding Car Salesman having repeatedly been the #1 top salesman in the area for several years in a row, as well as #3 in the country. He received multiple trophies and awards in different areas.

He truly enjoyed life and embraced every opportunity to make memories with those he loved. He found great happiness being outdoors, especially fishing and boating, and always jumped at opportunities. He also enjoyed heading out for the weekend to Atlantic City, traveling on cruises, seeing the world, and experiencing new adventures whenever he could.

Above all else, he was a true people person who never met a stranger. Warm, outgoing, and kindhearted, he loved being around others and had a natural way of making everyone feel welcome. His personality, sense of humor, and genuine love for people will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pecket, Sr. and Elizabeth Rigley; and his sister, Connie DiLissio; he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sharon Pecket; his daughter, Sherri (Jay) Lyons; his son, Charles C.
