Carol L. Splitt

May 31, 1944 - July 21, 2026

Carol L. Splitt, 82, of Bordentown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Trenton, NJ and raised in the Trenton and Hamilton area, Carol dedicated her life to her family as a loving and devoted stay-at-home mother. Caring for those she loved brought her the greatest joy, and she selflessly devoted herself to ensuring her family was always supported and cared for. As her family grew, she lovingly helped raise her grandchildren, creating countless cherished memories and leaving a lasting imprint on their lives through her unwavering love, patience, and guidance.

When she wasn't busy caring for others, Carol enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and relaxing with her favorite classic television shows on MeTV. Although she appreciated these simple pleasures, nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

Predeceased by her parents, Leo and Florence (Hobson) Vanderbilt; sister, Doris Krisanda as well as other late siblings; and her beloved husband, Harold Splitt; she is survived by two her daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and William Charles and Lisa and Jeffrey Ronca;  grandchildren, Jack L. Barry, III and Samuel H. Barry; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.

 A prayer service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
