Carl C. Zendrosky

June 17, 1962 - February 3, 2022


Carl Charles Zendrosky, 59, passed away on February 3, 2022 surrounded by family members at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia. Carl was born on June 17, 1962, in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Richard J. and Leona M. Zendrosky. He was many things to many people, a son, brother, uncle, God father, and a loyal friend.

Carl served a long career of 34 years in the United States military. Beginning his career in the U.S. Navy and advanced his expertise in the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Guard, and U.S. Air Force. Throughout his years of service, Carl has been awarded with the following decorations, medals, badges, commendations, and campaign ribbons: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, USAF Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Army Good Conduct Medal Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal W/ Campaign Star (2nd Award), Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (2nd Award), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, USAF Longevity Service Award Ribbon (2nd Award), and Armed Forces Reserve Medal W/ 20 Year Device Silver. In addition to his many accomplishments and years of service with the military, Carl was also a Mason and member of the Elks Lodge in Bordentown, NJ.


Carl is survived by his partner Debora Mattay of Meggett, SC, son Shane Zendrosky of Meggett, SC, and siblings: Kelly Malloy of Bordentown, NJ, Stacy Zendrosky of Cookville, TN, Shelly Brown of Nashville, TN, Dianne Walker of Bordentown, NJ, Kevin and Andrea Wright of Groveville, NJ, Richard G. Zendrosky of Bordentown, NJ, and several loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by Karen L. Zendrosky and Richard J. Zendrosky Jr.


A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, February 10, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville.


Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, from the Buklad- Merlino Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Burial will follow at Bordentown Cemetery, 210 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
