Beatrice Owusu Gyamfi, 63, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Kumasi, Ghana, Beatrice came to the United States in 2007 and made the Trenton/Hamilton area her home for nearly 20 years. She devoted the past fifteen years of her life to working in the healthcare field, where her compassionate heart and gentle spirit allowed her to provide comfort and care to those who needed it most.
Beatrice was a kind, generous, and loving woman whose unwavering faith was the foundation of her life. A devoted Catholic, she lived each day with grace, compassion, and a deep love for God. She had a joyful spirit that could brighten any room. She loved music, cherished moments filled with laughter and found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Above all else, Beatrice's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother and an adoring grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart.
Beatrice is survived by one son; one daughter; many siblings; 6 loving grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ. A prayer service will take place during the visitation
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
