Barbara Marie Dunn Nielsen, 82, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Atrium Post Acute Care Center in Hamilton.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Barbara was a lifelong Yardville area resident. She was a 1958 graduate of Trenton Central High School. She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church, was a former Eucharistic Minister and former member of their Ladies of the Blessed Sacrament. Barbara enjoyed Western movies, going to the Theatre, and was a history buff. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family on sightseeing trips throughout New Jersey.
Predeceased by her paternal grandparents James and Mary Dunn; parents Thomas and Emily Dunn, her husband Arnold K. Nielsen, Jr., and her brother Ronald Dunn; she is survived by her four children, Arnold K. Nielsen, 3rd, Christine (Tina) Kaczor, Richard Nielsen and his wife Susan, and Keith Nielsen; four grandchildren, Eddie and his wife Samantha Kaczor, Amy (Kaczor) and her husband Steven Dixon, Jayni Nielsen, and Michael Nielsen; 3 great grandchildren, Olivia Kaczor, Luke Dixon and Ryan Dixon; as well as many dear friends.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Parish at Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08611.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
