December 15, 1935 - August 15, 2026

Barbara J. Wright, 90, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 15, 2026 under Hospice Care at Merwick Rehab and Healthcare Center, Plainsboro, NJ.
Born and raised in Princeton, NJ, she moved to the Hamilton area in 1964, where she made her home for more than 60 years. She worked as a beautician throughout her career and was employed at several local salons in the area.
In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casino. She was also a devoted Chicago Bears fan and always enjoyed cheering on her favorite team.
More than anything, however, her greatest joy came from her family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved and was happiest when everyone was gathered together. A wonderful cook, she loved preparing delicious meals for her family and opening her home for gatherings, especially during the holidays. For her, these occasions were about much more than the food—they were about being together, sharing laughter, making memories, and enjoying the company of the people who meant the most to her.
Her family was truly the heart of her life, and the love she had for them was evident in everything she did. The countless meals, holidays, family gatherings, and special moments they shared will remain cherished memories for all who knew and loved her.
Predeceased by her parents, Allan H. and Amelia (Carnevale) Briggs; her beloved husband, George D. Wright; sister, Nancy Briggs; and son-in-law, Erich Morgano; she is survived by her children, Brenda (James) Jenkins, Sandra Morgano, Glen Wright, and James “Jim-Bob” Wright; sisters, Alice Cruser and Doris Britton; grandchildren, Lindsay (Jason) Lane, Robert (Sheena) Morgano, Kelsey Jenkins and Emily Morgano; great grandchildren, Lennox Gabriel, Liliana Morgano, Bradyn Carpenter, Liam Carpenter, Jacob Lane and Leah Lane; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ.
