Anna Phyllis (D’Aluisio) Rossi, age 85 entered into God’s care on Friday, February 4, 2022.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, August 20, 1936. Anna resided in the Trenton/Hamilton area for nearly 60 years.
Anna attended the Pratt Institute’s School of Art in Brooklyn, New York which attributed to her eye for fashion and interior design. She was primarily a homemaker caring for her four children until later in life when she was employed by the Switlik Parachute Company and Kramer Trenton Company. She spent most of her retirement caring for her eight grandchildren. She was a devoted tennis fan, loved classic movies and Masterpiece Theater and always enjoyed little treats such as chocolates, or her favorite cheesecake.
Predeceased by her maternal grandparents Vincenzo and Filomena (Minetti) Alfieri; fraternal grandparents Giuseppe and Agata (Prioletta) D’Aluisio; her parents Giovanni (John) and Caroline (Alfieri) D’Aluisio; her sister and brother-in-law Richard and Ida (D’Aluisio) Riley. She is survived by her loving family; daughter Carolyn (Rossi) Staub (granddaughter Sofia), son John Rossi and Tabatha Metzger (grandchildren Michael and Victoria), daughter Cynthia Rossi and fiancé’ Art Landolfi (grandchildren Nico and Catalina Holliday), son Gregory and Kirsten Rossi (grandchildren Lianna, Julia and Olivia), nephews Brian Riley and John Riley (Lauren and Blake) and many loving, caring cousins and friends.
Services are private and under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
