Angela Heim

July 17, 1956 - May 4, 2022

Angela Heim, 65, of Cream Ridge, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Samaritan Hospice at Virtua Memorial Hospital.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime area resident, residing in Cream Ridge since 1986.

Angela was employed at the Trenton Board of Education, retiring after more than 35 years of service working with special needs children. She was a true animal lover, always taking care of their family dogs, most recently Rottweilers were her favorite breed. Angela was an advocate for local animal shelters, rescuing and adopting whenever possible. She also believed in, and helped promote the cause for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. In her younger years she enjoyed taking trips with her husband on their Harley Davidson.

Predeceased by her parents, Elwood and Angeline (Sarrio) Thomas, and her infant son Walter Heim, Jr.; she is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Walter Heim, Jr.; her son Joseph Heim and companion Wendy High; grandson Maverick Heim; sister, Irene DiBiasio; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Yardville.

A prayer service will begin at 8:00 p.m. with local clergy officiating

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Burlington County Animal Rescue, 35 Academy Road, Westampton, NJ 08060, or ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
