Andrew Truch

October 31, 1928 - February 27, 2022

Andrew Truch entered into God’s care on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, with his caring family by his side. Born in Trenton NJ, he was a lifelong resident until moving with his dedicated son, Joseph to Ewing.

Andrew graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1947. He served proudly in The United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After his honorable discharge, he became employed by C.F.& I. Steel Corporation (the former John A. Roebling Co.) in Trenton for nearly 20 years. He then worked for Trenton Board of Education for 25 years as building superintendent until retirement. Even after retirement he continued working part-time at the Mercer County arena as an usher for several years.

Andrew was always a cheerful, loving person who touched the lives of everyone he met. He was dedicated to his cherished family. He was also a longtime president of the former 655 Club and a member of the American Legions post 313. Even in the hospital, Andrew kept his active mind fully engaged with crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. He lived by the words “Gotta be OK”


Andrew Truch was predeceased by his wife, Patricia A. (Visnyiczke) Truch, and his parents, Wasyl and Sophie (Muzyka) Truch. He was also predeceased by siblings; Justin Truch, Joseph Truch, John Truch, Ann Haszu, Stella Inscho, Mary Sypniewski, Sophie Leszczuk, Helen Paszkowski, and his grandson, Travis.


Andrew is survived by his children; Andy Godown and wife Debbie, Mark Truch and wife Joni, Joseph Truch (with whom he resided), William Truch and wife Elizabeth, Lorie Linico and husband Nick; one sister, Patricia Grant; a very special family friend, Cindy Partite; many grandchildren, Stephanie, Patricia and husband Christopher, Nicole and husband Angelo, Elizabeth, Sammy, Gabriel, Andrew and wife Jamie and Ronald and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Angelo, Galiano, Giovanna, Nico, Connor, Chase, Dominick, Kaylin and Joella; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Andrew’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the

Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.


A prayer service will begin at 11:00 a.m.


Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
