Allison Snyder passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023 with her beloved husband Tom Smith (Smitty), by her side. Prdeceased by her father, Robert Snyder, brother, Robbie Snyder, and late fiance Lenny Marano. Beside Smitty, Allison is survived by her beloved daughter & son-in-law, Rachael and Anthony Parziale, and her dearly beloved granddaughter, Marley Parziale, her mother Eileen Snyder, brother Michael Snyder, her in-laws, Leonard and Rose Marie Marano, and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Allison and Smitty shared a passion for motorcycles and travel and enjoyed many wonderful trips together. Allison was passionate about wildlife and nature, loved wolves and eagles, and kayaking with Smitty. Allison was an avid reader and a generous person who touched so many lives with kindness and love.
Allison was a longtime New Jersey State employee, primarily with the New Jersey Department of the Treasury. Allison was an expert in Labor Relations and was widely respected by both Labor and Management. Over the course of her long and illustrious career, she was involved with important labor negotiations and many significant decisions that shaped New Jersey State employment law. After Allison retired from State government, she was so highly sought after by State agencies and colleagues, that she was drawn out of retirement to become a part-time consultant at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. She was a skilled and thoughtful administrator who generously shared her wisdom and knowledge.
Services will be private. At Allison’s request, contributions to her granddaughter’s education fund would be appreciated in lieu of flowers or other remembrances:

I think it was around 1984 that I met Allison, through the wonderful group of riders that were in Trenton and Hamilton. Through the many LTB parties and social get-to-gethers it became apparent that Allison was quick witted, funny, and had a passion for true friendship. And a straight shooter she was...if it looked like a duck, walked like a duck - she said it was a duck- period. Always a beautiful girl with beautiful long hair and an enticing smile. It breaks my heart that she was taken from us. If Angels are allowed to communicate to us here on earth , I'm sure she will do so, and I am sue she will do some pranking and…
