Alfred L. "Tommy" Dupont

January 6, 1931 - December 27, 2020

Alfred L. “Tommy” Dupont, 89, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at his home with his caregiver Parker by his side, on Sunday, December 27, 2020.


He is now at peace with his late wife Jaqueline Castaldo Dupont.


Born in Leconia, New Hampshire, he was a resident of Brooklyn, NY and Hamilton, NJ for many years. Al was a career Military Police Sergeant in the United States Army and faithfully served his country, having served 3 tours in the Korean War, and earned a purple heart while serving in Vietnam.


He enjoyed playing golf, spending time at his home in Fort Meyers Florida, visiting the Hamilton Twp. Senior Center and was a frequent visitor of the Dunkin Donuts located next door to the Foleys Family Market on Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd. He was loved by his family very much and was admired by many.


Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Irene (Parent) Dupont, wife, Jaqueline Castaldo Dupont, brother Oscar Dupont, sisters Rita Focier, Theresa LaPoint, and Blanche Condon, sister-in-law, Grace Morales, brother-in-law, Frankie Castaldo, Jr., and his devoted canine Tyson.


He will be dearly missed by his son David Dupont of Brooklyn, NY, sister-in-law Francine Lieberman, niece Tammy Lieberman-Frost, nephews Mark and Michael Morales, all of his nieces and nephews in Claremont, New Hampshire, and his grand dogs, Mugsy and Giorgia.
