Alan had a love for life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed trips to the casino, cheered passionately for his beloved Eagles and Phillies, and found joy working in his yard among his flowers and plants. Above all, Alan cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, and he treasured the many travel adventures he shared with his devoted wife.

He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 42 years, Elaine Ferry-Skilton; his daughter, Alexis Skilton; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Ann Skilton, John and Eleanor Skilton, and Dave and Linda Skilton; his beloved grandchildren, Michael, Stella, and Elleanor; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He also leaves behind two Aids who took exceptional care of him, Lumisher and Janiqua.

Alan will be remembered for his warmth, loyalty, and quiet strength. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
